Grew out of Rush mostly as many men do when they realize that they can interact with females, but was sad to hear that he passed away.
Many would call him the greatest, many would argue against it, some would put him Rushmore and others wouldn't.
I am in the wouldn't crowd. I need to feel a groove, not a metronome.
My brother in law and sister in law have gone to every Rush concert in Philly and NYC for over 30 years. Within the past 20 years, several times they've asked my wife and me if we want to go with them. We're like, "Nah, we're good."
Wow did't even know he was ill... truly a sad day in music as he will be missed. Saw RUSH in the mid 80's and ran into them several hours after the show in a downtown Portland OR Hotel bar, shook there hands congratulated them on an outstanding performance, had drink went on my way. very down to earth, good people!
