Just checking to see if anyone has used this wheelset successfully in cross. I'm 165 and have a set that I've used on the road for two years with no problems. Cross for me is a means of keeping some off-season fitness; I'm a Cat 4 with modest competitive goals. I was going to buy a wheelset, but I can just use these if they'll hold up. The 20/24 spoke count makes me nervous for cross. I'm certain higher spoke counts would be preferrable, but I figured I'd see what experiences others have had before plunking down the cash. Any opinions on these, or any low spoke-count wheels for that matter, would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen them used with guys at least your size. You should be fine.

Hmm, which Hutchinson's?
I would have thought the Bulldogs might be a little wide for the Neuvations...

he has said that with the skinny rims he can't run them as low as he would like, for fear of rolling them in turns, but he has done a few seasons on this setup and won't ever go back to tubed clinchers.

I've been tempted to build up a cx wheelset w/ NoTubes 355 rims, but don't know if I'll get around to that.
