If you live in the USA, No matter how good a deal, Please think twice before using PRO Bike KIt. Extremely slow delivery times, no tracking numbers. If that is not enough , when they miss the delivery date, they give the "Oh You live in the USA, those orders can be delayed a month". Check back with us then.

yep, they went from my preferred online vendor to a complete POS several years ago.

avoid them.
Not a place I would have considered doing business with based on comments I have seen on here previously.
Never had a problem with them but my last order from CRC went South in a big way and ended up with them asking me for a copy of my passport.
Yeah...No.
I used to buy from them constantly. Haven't used them in years because other UK/European vendors have lower prices AND PBK almost never has what I need in stock anymore. Admittedly, I used to be a heavy roadie and these days do more commuting and off-road and gravel riding than road, but these also rarely have my road bike needs in stock.

They are no better/worse than other UK vendors in my experience and I have ordered plenty with them. PBK states clearly that their regular shipping are NOT tracked, and tracked shipping is optional or for orders over $300(I believe). The general rule for ordering overseas is cheap, quick, correct, pick two.
I think there are a lot of variables. Just this week I received a wheelset shipped here to the USA from them that was $400 cheaper than anything I could find from an online store within the USA, and half the MSRP. PBK provided a tracking number through Trakpak where I could see the wheels clear customs, then picked up by FedEx tracking number, then handed onto USPS with a different tracking number for the local delivery. In all it took 10 days from when I placed the order.

Now the kicker, they are tubeless wheels, but are missing the valves which were supposed to be included. Working with PBK to get the missing valves shipped, PBK is really quick with their customer responses, but the problem they say is at their supplier end, seems PBK do not touch the parts just route from their suppliers (not sure if this is always the case), but maybe it comes down to whether parts are in stock at their suppliers, and their website does not accurately reflect that inventory.

Anyway, I know that does not help your frustration, but I had really good luck with them in both tracking and timeliness. As for my valves, if they don't ship soon, I plan to just pick some up at an LBS or through Amazon - would still come out way ahead $$$ wise.

I encountered very similar situation with a Mavic wheelset order. It came with TA adapters, QR skewers, 9mm rear QR adapter but not for the front. PBK originally said they will take care of it, but then informed me that the supplier can't get the missing parts, to eventually telling me the wheels do not come with any axle adapters. This went back and forth, and I eventually gave up and purchased the adapters on my own. I later found out that Mavic TA wheelsets do not come with any skewers or axel adapters, the supplier must have just thrown in the ones I got.

I was originally annoyed thinking they shorted me, but when I found out I got about $100 of extras, I stopped complaining.
Some delay in shipping up to a few weeks is tolerable for us here in Canada. And I get MUCH better and faster service dealing with UK companies compared to US companies. Seems our border is hardest on imports from the US, which is dumb.

Though I have never used PBK, the majority of online orders I make are from CRC, and thousand$ a year

Do you own a passport? (serious question)

Shipping was stated as not tracked.
It's a UK vendor, see above question.

I picked up a TACX work stand from them for a steal and wasn't sweating whether it came on a Monday or next Monday. If you are anxious to get your tires to make this weeks' group ride, well I can see how you'd be upset.

For large expensive purchases - trainer work stand - they are fine. Anything happens just take it up with your credit card company.
Just bought a new cycling computer from them before I saw this and guess what I don't have? Yep, a tracking number.... (doh!) Pray for me!!!!

Been using PBK for nearly 10 years and yet to have a lost shipment. It'll show up when it shows up. Might suck if you don't like surprises, bonus if you do.

It eventually showed up. Took about a week and a half. Probably won’t use them again. The savings weren’t really worth the guess work to me.
Like others, I never had an issue. I have purchased wheels, tires, and much more. Just received an order for tires last week. Have to agree, there have been changes that make them less desirable, but still a good resource. The biggest change has been the amount of vendors that will not allow selling to the United States in including SRAM and Shimano. Used to be able to save tons.
PBK has certainly slowed a lot with regard to speed of shipping, but they're still quite reputable. My only rule with PBK is never order anything I need in less than two weeks. With that said, I vastly prefer Wiggle.
PBK has a screaming deal on a Fuji Altamira carbon frameset for about $360 if it fits you (only available in a large 55cm size).

ETA: now sold out
I ordered two items from PBK. A bike case and an accessory for the case. The acc shipped in 4 days. No issue arrived. The case was delayed for a week, then said it shipped. I then looked at tracking and no record found. I notified them multiple times asking for help. Each time they said it had shipped, looking into it... escalating.. they would get back to me. After a month I gave up. I told them I was turning it over to the credit card company, they said not do to it give them 2 days and they would get back to me. I did.. no reply in 4 days. I cancelled with credit card. I could not cancel with them directly since there system still shows it shipped. This was a Christmas present so very disappointed with them. Never have given a poor review . I kept the accessory even though I can not use it. Too much trouble sending back a $30 item or even trying to get a refund. A real email or a call or something and I would have been happy. Just.. I am sorry and let us know if we can do anything else.. is not helpful.

Agree. I cancelled my only order from them. I did get my money back, but if you want an item in say, a few months, then they are fine. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I’ll never order anything from them again.

The biggest issue now is they do not provide free returns. I bought a pair of Bont shoes and fit was off...shipping back to the UK is $$$$$...enough so where it makes it prohibitive. Now I have to sell them at a loss in the US
