Over the past month I have noticed tons of new racks being added to locations all over Manhattan and Brooklyn. I couldnt figure out what they were until they added the stickers "Citi Bike".

Reading articles on the growing pains for the same types of programs in Paris and London and other cities I am looking forward to the program.

This will make bikers more visible in the city and make it easier for all NYC cyclists.

Paris had a few early deaths from cars hitting some of the rental riders in the early days until drivers changed their driving patterns to accommodate the uptick in cyclists. This is the phenom I am looking for.

New bike share program starts in NYC 5/27.

DC has a bikeshare program. We are members and huge fans.

Even though we have lots of bikes we use bikeshare several times a week. It is nice to not worry about theft when you stop somewhere.
