Proud new owner of a Tarmac comp, was 50-50 on stepping up to the Expert but I didnt like the grey color (yes the carbon weave effect IS cool, but from 5 ft away its just a grey bike). Since purchasing the bike I ve visited the Specialized site to copy paste all the vitals on the bike to keep on record. Only question I have is that the length of the stock stem is not listed. This is a length I d like to have on hand as I see a stem change in the near future. I m assuming its a 120mm as that seems to the be the "stock" stem length on most all the compact frames these days. Any help would be great and TIA

The stem length on the Comp and Expert at my lbs were both 110's.
Your stem should be marked with the size.

Thanks for the reply honestly I hadnt really looked to see if it was marked anywhere, too busy riding it! I ll take a look and thanks again.

PS: The Tarmac is a sweeeet sweeeet machine

actually it depends on your frame size what size your stock stem was (at least as sent by Specialized). My 61 came with a 130 but swapped smaller at no charge at the LBS. the 58 came with a 110...
