So I am putting together a new wheelset based around NovaTech hubs. 20 hole front 24 hole rear. Thinking DT Swiss Revolution spokes with brass nipples. Stans Alpha 340 rims.
On the front I want to go with a radial lacing/ straigh pull. On the rear I am confused. Any intel on that would be great......seems radial on NDS and 2x on DS?
I am planning on putting these together myself, first wheelset. I know not the best of idea. But taking my time triple checking everything, tension, lacing and such. A few guys on my team have built wheels up in the past so I can check with them.
The newer design rims do they need spoke washers? I know they had problems with the first generations.
I weight 160lbs also sorry.
