I was noticing, and pardon my lack of knowledge on the correct termage here, but my bike wont down shift into the last gear, or the biggest and most inward gear on my rear wheel. How do I adjust that, am I new to biking and need that get for my nancy self getting up those hills

You might want to pick up a copy of Zinn & the Art of Road Bike Maintenance. It's the bible of repair & adjustment. I keep mine in the gargle where my bikes are, & it's got grease stains all over it. IMO it's easier to use than a video or a computer.

Wow, what fantastic info. I set the L screw and tomorrow will adjust the Index for use with the click stops.
