Hi Folks,

I'm 58, 5-7 and getting back into riding because I'm temporarily out of swimming because of a rotator cuff issue. I've decided I prefer a carbon bike for better cardio workouts and because I carry my bike up 3 flights of stairs. I also prefer the flat bars.

I've narrowed the choices to a Cannondale Quick 2 and a Specialized Sirrus Limited. I've tested both bikes. The Cannondale feels very good, but somewhat like a cruiser/touring bike. The Sirrus Limited feels almost as good, but a tad faster and more nimble. Similarly priced, but I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts beyond my brief test. Also am wondering about the Kestrel RT-1000 as it cheaper and I could change the down bars, I guess.

Thanks!!
