It can occur, if you happen to open the email at the same instant that the server is resetting itself. I've also seen it, but it's only temporary.

If you go back into those emails now (the one(s) that was blank before) it should show everything.

A glitch in the redundant server system.

I know what you're talking about but that's not what's happening. Of the last 5... only one had content... I'll ride it out for a while.
