I'd LOVE to see a video of that interview, especially when the reporter asks him about holding onto a car...

And what director do you think he is talking about? Any guesses?

I'm a fan of his personality. One of the only interesting things to watch during a Tour or race sometimes.

Truth or not, I'm entertained by how he puts things. What a guy.

Said he was a former sprinter so I guess Vaughters is in the clear. ;P

Giuseppe Saronni could do a decent sprint but I don't remember Lampre complaining too much.

He's just bluffing to take the pressure off. He is planning on winning - definitely. I'd go so far as to say that he is one of the 3 or 4 favourites.

I'm not so sure. The Italians came out a couple of months ago to check out the course and have returned to race without a sprinter. It might not be the bunch sprint people were expecting.
