They totally replaced this road 3 or 4 years ago. Last week, they chip sealed it WITH 2 DIFFERENT COLORS OF GRAVEL!! Are they trying to drive me crazy?


on top of ruining a perfectly beautiful road!!!!!

btw, the road that mine leads into (one of 2 ways in or out) is in such bad shape, they cut rumble strips into it and you can't tell!

For me it's CDO.... have to keep the letters in order....

They actually did this for your Alzheimer's. Grey Going, Brown Returning... in case you can't remember if you were heading out for a ride, or trying to find home.... :)

It's a bit hazy in the photo... are you sure it isn't yellow brick?
Have you had any strange encounters with cowardly lions, scarecrows, or people who appear to be made out of tin?
Any interactions with large groups of little-people inhaling helium?

I will see what I can do about a better picture, sure wish I had a drone to take it with

The city and state of NY opened the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in NYC in 1964

Since that time the name has been spelled incorrectly on every official sign and document.

The signs say "Verrazano"

The Italian explorers name is spelled "Verrazzano". Two Z's.

The state has adamantly refused to make corrections.

Shhhh they'll just rename it something even worse, like the Ed Koch or Robert Kennedy bridge {{{shudder}}}

Although, for a few million, they WILL name it after you. We should take up a collection and name it BIKES ONLY. :idea:
