I have: shimano 9 speed rear derailleur, 9 speed front derailleur, 10 speed chain,
and currently 7 speed crank/bb which isn't shifting too well.

I am thinking of getting 9 speed shimano crank. Should I get previous 9 speed version, or is latest version better for reliability/durability/gd shifting? Or campy 9 crank/bb?

Any of the three should be equal for 'reliability/durability/gd shifting'. - TF
