All I could think of was that's what I must sound like when I'd tell my girl about why I "needed" to buy a $280. stem or a pair of $300. shoes!

I can't afford any of that uber expensive stuff. So, I don't have to make excuses.

I buy good quality, but I wait for a deal to come along.

I've found myself trying to justify buying something reallllly nice (bike related) that I absolutely "don't" need
and I remember hearing myself talking to myself and sounding like these guys...and I :lol: at myself.

These shoes have carbon fiber and a molded heal cup.
They also have a stiffness rating of 8.5.. 5.0 just doesn't cut it anymore.

Maybe thoughts like those went through my head when I recently bought my shoes.. I ain't tellin!
