Not guilty in the sense I "turned my back" on the beloved bike part, but in the sense of "was that a rip on the buyer?"
Part in question is a front wheel: Mavic CXP22 laced to a Shimano 2200 hub. Paid $80 when new at an LBS, been on the hybrid for about ~1,500mi, not abused or damaged, still borderline-perfectly true, braking surface is still good, and it spent it's last months on the trainer supporting a portion of my 140lbs because it's a front wheel. Sold it for $35 but the buyer didn't have exact change and gave me 40.
Guess this is a desperate attempt to reassure that I set a fair price. Not to make excuses, but my set price was considering the "Bay Area" market, and from my experience it's been a solid wheel to live up to the price. Fair?
