I was (a bit embarassingly) listening to Bella Donna (Stevie Nicks) yesterday. On came 'Edge of Seventeen' and I got to thinking: this surely has to be one of the best guitar riffs ever. 'Sweet Child O' Mine' must be right up there too, right?

Dude, I'm thinking more along the lines of "Smoke on the Water" maybe "Pinball Wizard". You must be a young feller.

Ted Nugent in concert in 2001:

And he starts playing Cat Scratch Fever and the crowd goes wild.

Then as soon as he finishes that song he says:

"Wait a minute. THIS is the greatest lick in the history of Rock n Roll."

Then he starts playing Stranglehold.

It was awesome.

That was the song that first came to my mind also......a classic.
