I normally race the bone-dry roads of So Calif, but am thinking to race Pescadero RR this June.

I'm getting ready to glue a new set of tubulars for the upcoming season.

"Typical" Pescadero road conditions may influence the tire I select.

Specifically, is the course likely to have wet, damp roads from fog, or drizzle? ( I won't start the race if it's raining).

It is atypical for it to rain at all in June. Occasionally you can get coastal mist/drizzle in the early morning, but in the last few years, we have had very little of that. The roads are likely to be quite dry. El Nino seems to have fizzled out here.

My club puts on Pesky and I've done moto escort duty for the last six years. Sometimes it's overcast and cold for much of the race. I think only once has there been water on the pavement and it was just in spots.

If you get a chance, pre-ride the descents. They're tricky enough that there are crashes fairly regularly.
