I need some (more) pictures of cyclists consuming carbs while on the bike. Google image search and the pics I have are not cutting it for me.

Gels, sports drinks, bananas, coke, etc.

Pro's or regular people. As long as you don't mind if I use it for a presentation, and it is not copyrighted.

Post them here or in a PM

Thanks!

what would happen if you dont eat enough carbs when riding lol
Actually, there are two clinical studies during which subjects ate a ZERO carbohydrate diet for 4 and 6 weeks respectively. After the two week adaptation period (suck period) they were able to exercise at the same intensity as before they began the zero carb diet.

After adaptation, you "can" exercsie at up to ~75% of VO2max. Basically at lactate threshold. Anything above that intensity is not possible for very long (~1 - 4 minutes) due to the reliance on glucose (which is very low) on a zero carb diet.

BUT!!!!! That is not recomended. Athletes not adapted to a very low or zero carb diet "bonk" when they run low on glycogen/blood glucose.

Thanks for the pics. I found a few and have some as well.
