Just a quick question to all the CO peeps:

Know any nice relatively inexpensive places to stay near Beaver Creek. Gonna be there for a wedding in June.

Nearby Avon. Not far, and the prices drop substantially. Check the Christie Lodge, but there are plenty of other spots, too.

If it is early enough in June, it will probably still kind of be the "off season" which may help!

I own condo at the Christie lodge. Its nice without being over the top. Just around the corner from beaver liqueurs too.

Cool, will check it out....and near a place called Beaver Liqueurs, classic...

There was/is a good little shop in La Jolla called Dicks Liqueur, pretty good beer/wine selection

another vote for Avon...cool little town. Bring your bike if you can or rent one. You could ride to Breck and back...cool little ride all on bike paths.
