hi guys..

just got the SR installed on my bike..

having some problems here..
when i downshift 4-5 cogs towards the smaller cassette, my right thumb shifter seems to stucked and refuse to move upwards to the origin position:confused: .
the SR grouppo is virtually new, approx 10km mileage.

could there be anything wrong with the levers or is this normal?
any possibility the problem is due to cable tension?

appreciate for any advice given on how to resolve this.

cheers.

info...

Most likely, the brake hood is rubbing on the thumb button. The new hood design needs to have the lower edge pulled down firmly to open up the groove for the thumb button.

Thanks C40.

i just had a look at it, and guess what..you're absolutely right!

the rubber brake hoods was protruding to the point that it was rubbing against the thumb shifters. as such, it couldn't return back to the origin position once it reaches the lowest point.
like what you adviced, i pulled down the rubber hoods to increase the clearance, and problem solved!

THANK YOU C40!

Cheers!
