For those who don’t know, Kerry Irons is a very longtime poster on RBR (been here nearly 20 years (!!)), and has been consistently one of the most helpful, prolific and knowledgeable posters here.

Yet, he’s not even in the Top 20 posters in Reaction Score. Time to fix that. 🔧

Hit that phat ‘ol Like button on any and all good Kerry Irons posts (which is ‘bout all of ‘em), and acknowledge an RBR MVP. 👍

‘Nuff said. 🚴

Is the 'reaction score' always positive? I looked at mine, but I think multiple 'thumbs down' tags my have led to my current status.

I've been here nearly 20 years - my reaction is = it sure has changed. But who's keeping score? ;)

So what is the difference between most points and highest reaction score? Is this system keeping track from the rep system on the old V-bulletin site?
Points I believe are from the old system. And they are maxed out at 113.
This details the points system: Add 'em up and 113 is all you can get. Trophies

Reaction score I believe is the new system. Can't find any info on it.

I assume reaction score is based on the number of likes you get on your posts. Not sure if likes are weighted any different than the other emitocons in that category.

And what exactly would be the point in this. FYI, I couldn't care less. As my cycling mentor, Gene Potuesi used to say, those who think they know everything are a real pain in the neck to those of us who do :)

Prolific? A mere 21,623 posts over nearly two decades? Why, you yourself are approaching double that, and in six fewer years.

I'll give you helpful, and knowledgeable, though if you ask me, from his posts re his mileage he sounds like he spends way more time riding his bike than being prolific on a discussion forum--coasting on his laurels, so to speak. 😉

Besides, "points and trophies" are like "thoughts and prayers," in that they don't do anything, either--unless you have faith.

Well xxl, while neither Kerry nor I have as many posts as you do, Kerry’s still Top 20 on the site in post count.

IOW, just because you and I are more prolific, doesn’t mean Kerry ain’t prolific. 😉

As they say, it isn't the quantity, it's the quality.

In truth, I was being facetious ("coasting" on his laurels--a bike forum participant, etc.) Note the emoji.
