I have a pair of Rx transitionals I use for cycling. -4 with astigmatic correction isn't that severe, so I can't imagine any optician can't do this.

I have -4.75 astigmatic in one eye and -4.25 in the other, so I can't find cycling specific glasses that work without having to use a clip-on insert behind the lens.

Maybe not cycling specific glasses, true. Anything wrap around will be difficult. I have a +1 with astigmatism on top and +2.5 added to that on the bottom. That couldn't be done with wrap around glasses without the Rx being effed up on a number of levels. I sent them back.

Non wrap arounds with a slight curvature can be done.

You might check out Maui Jim. Very spendy, but they can deal with heavy astigmatism.

I have found these to be the best for me... Rudy RYDON and FOTONYK SUNGLASSES, been using them for years both with clip on inserts
