Who's building your frame? If you go threadless, a color matching stem might not be a bad idea...There is a lugged stem kit availible to builders( bikelugs.com used to sell it)

It simplifies the bar options.. Here is mine.. I bought standard anodized black bars and stripped/polished the center section only. Underneath the tape is black anodizing.. Stripping and polishing took about an hour...I sprayed Easy Off on the bars and polished with metal polish. 2 years later they still look great.

If you don't want to go this option, Nitto is hard to beat for quality
