Image 6 shows a look of genuine relief between surviving mother and daughter.

In sharp contrast...

Image 24 hits hard. A lil' one in the man's arms as he is about to place it with the mother. That will choke up even the toughest.

I spent a night in L'Aquila back in 1990. A cute little town nestled in the mountains of central Italy. The devastation is amazing.

Those are some moving images of terrible devastation. I'm not sure how I could handle something like that in my own town.
