After spending the last several years aboard various race steeds from Cannondale, Slovakian superstar Peter Sagan has made the jump to a new team (Tinkoff-Saxo) and new bikes (Specialized). Here we have Specialized's aero roadster, the Venge, the same bike sprint star Mark Cavendish has been on for several years. For now Sagan's bike is spec'd with a blend of Shimano and FSA drivetrain parts. But in the coming months all the Shimano bits will go away, replaced by the soon-to-be-released FSA electronic shifting groupset (a fact that this video's presenter seems to have missed). Wheels on Sagan's bike are the composite Roval Rapide CLX 40, which we reviewed during the recently completed cyclocross season. Sagan will be hoping this rig can carry him to glory during the upcoming spring classics and then on to another Tour de France green jersey. Have a look.
For more on the Tinkoff-Saxo bikes, we also get this video run through from one of their team mechanics. Great looking bikes.
