Hi, I just received a 1070 11t-23t cassette from PBK for my second wheelset. Every gear run smoothly exept one: the 16t gear make a weird noise. Can it be a defective part? I will adress this problem to PBK but I wanted to know if it's a know problem.

Thanks

Well, I'll try to answer my own post:idea: I just mesured my chain and it look like I need a new one(more than 1/16 after only 2000 km). The 16t gear is probalbly the one that I mostly use, my assumption is that the chain wore in a way and it's probably why it make so much noise with a new 16t. Does that make sense?

I will buy a new chain tomorrow and see...

SRAM now has a replacement for the OG 1070 cassette its the PG1070 this was done to fix the issue with the noise of the missing tooth setup. Check with your local authorized SRAM dealership.

I just changed my chain to a new DuraAce 7900 and everything run smoothly. Needless to say I'm kind of disapoint with the performance of the old chain, a SRAM 1070, that last for less than 2000km. No more SRAM chain for me...
