I recently purchased a pair of Campagnolo Veloce brakes and am having a heck of a time installing them. The one is fine and will install on either end of the bike perfectly; however the second one has a pathetically short bolt on it that wont engage with the nuts at all. Is it possible that this is a defect or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need a longer nut for the front . If the campy brakes are the same as shimano, short nut in the rear and long nut in the front.

Thanks for the advice! I did indeed find a longer nut but it is still too short to engage the bolt. Can I get longer ones?

I imagine I can find these at Lowes or somewhere similar right?
No, not a local hardware store item. Your LBS should have some.
