It's a pretty good mix out there. Mostly tubulars when you see carbon rims. Races like PR, pretty much all tubies.
I think a couple teams are using the new shimano tubless tires and a few have clinchers but most use them for backup wheels.

(you do see more clinchers today then you did 5 years ago)

oln featured this topic a couple yrs ago.
one of the jobs of the support team is to stretch out plenty of tubulars in advance, and get replacement wheels glued up in advance.

i hate stretching tubulars. but i guess if that is how you could see the entire tour up close, i would take the job.
