I just got my first carbon bike. It's a cheapie, but I want to take care of it. It's black and white and after only 30 miles, I've noticed fine scratches on the black parts. Can I wax it or put a protectant on it like "303" (which I use for the car http://www.303products.com/tech/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=428 ) I wipe it down with a micro fiber towel when I'm done so I don't quite know where these are coming from...

Ideas?

The sad truth is that bicycles are pieces of outdoor exercise equipment. As such they will show signs of use.

Lube your chain (and wipe it off aftwards) clean your frame and parts with windex or lemon pledge and the thing will work well for a long time (and that is what really matters).
