Those that have been paying attention know that I'm dealing with an inflammed IT band. I got me a foam roller and know how to use it but don't know how long and how often I should use it. Once a day? Twice a day? One minute? Five minutes?

I use mine for about 30 minutes total working both legs. I'll do one leg for about 10 minutes and look for sore spots and focus on working those spots. Then I move on to the other leg, then back to the first and then back to the second. For an IT, I would stretch, then roller, then ice.

It all started after trying to alleviate pain in my feet from new Sidi shoes with a pro fitting. They installed wedges raised and moved back my seat, etc. I went back to the old shoes and saddle position.
