About a year ago, I tore (I'm pretty sure) my right calf just as I was about to start a run. I felt a 'pop' and first thought someone hit me w/ a stick. It feel better now Unfortunately, I recently went on a run and pulled my left calf. It was a searing pain and I hobbled around for a day or two. Because I seem to keep straining it when I run across the street, try to catch the elevator, etc. I'm wondering what I need to do to heal correctly? It has been several weeks now and the sore spot is on the top left side of the calf.

Any suggestions? (ps--I stretch and I thought I was hydrated).
