Pushing the Top painting

Here is my first cyling painting watercolor 12x9"
I like the photo at the top of the RBR site with the cyclers in the country side with the barns.
I wonder how I can get permission to paint a variation of it?

Thanks

Can't see a photo - the link is to a Google mail page.

To show a pic without a link, do this..
- Host the pic at a 3rd party site, e.g. PhotoBucket
- Copy the image address from that site
- put that address between this:

In your post, when you write it, it will look like this...

and then ^ will become the photo in your post

Thanks. The FAQ said use the new thread not quick post and use the attachment icon (the paperclip) and just choose from computer files. Works great!

I love your work.can't you just change something a little to avoid permission. You know you have talent when your worried about copying. If I drew it no one when ever be able to tell they were the same. Your very gifted.

Brad Thanks.
I like your avatar pic. Mind if I paint that or if you have any other pics you might think would make a cool painting.

Mind? Of course not, that would be awesome. Especially if you promise to use artistic license to make the helmet comply with Rule #35  That was my first timed "race" and I was sadly ignorant of "The Rules"!

Thanks Brad,
I'll get rid of the brim. I just removed mine off my new helmet. The only under $100 helmet had the brim.
Thanks for the permission. Is the Jersey the Wisconsin Badgers jersey

Here you go Bucky sans the visor! Rule #35 intact. Those rules are great!
Holy cow, that was faster than I was expecting!!!! Is it even dry? :D

I look great!

Mind if I switch it to my avatar? I'll credit you in my .sig.

osteomark - you have some talent! You could make some money doing this - someone sends you a JPEG of their favourite picture of them riding (eg. from a race or organized ride), and you turn it into a painting to hang on their wall for a fee!

Bucky,
Have at. Avatar this. Watecolor drys quickly. I'd love to do personal paintings for cyclers. Just PM me and well talk. I do oils and acrylics also, but watercolor is looser and quicker for me. More action in the painting without me forcing it.
