I'm trying to put together a bike for my college-age son from parts I've collected over the years---some new, some used. I've got a set of brand-new Veloce Ergo-Power Ultra-shift shifters, circa 2008 (the print date on the Campy instructions is 3/2008). I've got a used Chorus front derailleur, 10 speed, QS. Looking at the instructions, on the shifters, it says the shifters are not compatible with QS front derailleurs. I know sometimes Campy parts are compatible when the factory says otherwise, but has anyone had any experience with trying to make this combination work?
