Hey guys, I'm looking for my first single speed bike and I've got a question on frame sizing. I've got a 32" inseam (5'11") which I believe fits a 56cm frame. Someone I know is selling a practically new fuji track bike but it's a 54cm frame which has a 30" standover compared to 31" on the 56. Would this frame be too small for me or could I just raise the seat? Or will it even be noticeable? I don't know a lot about bikes so I'm not sure how the height affects the rest of the frames geometry.

Shane,
It kind of depends. I'm the same size as you..and generally ride a 56cm. That said, my Pinarello is a 53 and I had to get a shorter stem to keep from being stretched out triathlon style. My new Langster is a 58 and fit better than the 56 did. Is there any way you can sit on the bike and try it first?
