I have a 25 mile lop that I routinely do in about 45 minutes. Is that fast? Am I strong enough to race? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
BTW-I'm 65 yrs old and just started biking last yr!

I have an 85 mile loop that I routinely do on my bike. Is that kosher? Should I just drive instead? I don't really want your thoughts, but felt like typing for the attention. Thanks for asking. BTW - I'm from the future and started biking right after Armageddon. You'll need thicker tires.

It depends. Are you riding a Trek? I heard they're good bikes.

If you use aerobars, you'll add 3mph easily.

If you fart intermittently while riding, you'll get a good turbo boost.

Is your bike red?

What PSI do you run your tires at?

What color is your bar tap?

Your can race but only if you are on a unicycle.

A real racer could do that 25 mile loop in about 25 minutes, so I'd say you are nowhere near race shape, and I can't imagine you'll ever get there. Give it up and pick up something lame like golf. You can be drunk, fat, and having a heart attack and still play golf.

i heard chrome bar tape also makes you faster.
