Why You Want: A smaller version of Ligh & Motion's 180, pack many of the same features in an even more compact package.

Pros: Smaller one piece unit that houses a rechargeable li-ion battery, 25 lumen rear light, amber side lights, and a built in clip/strap that makes mounting a breeze.

Cons: Half the lumens of the original Vis 180.

RoadBikeReview Take: The Vis 180 micro is a compact version of it's older sibling the Vis 180. The lumen output is halved to just 25, but so is the price. Featuring 180 degress of visibility, the micro features the same settings as the original Vis 180 - a steady high beam, high pulse, low pulse, and the roadie friendly paceline mode. Even at half the size, the claimed run times are the same, 12 hours on low pulse, 6 on high pulse, and 20 hours on paceline mode. On solid steady mode, the light will run for 4 hours.

We found the micro every bit as capable a taillight as it's sibling the Vis 180. At half the cost, it's hard to pass up this light.

Price: $49
