New wheelset for a 185lb ( trying to be 175) rider. White h3 hubs, hed Belgian rims, 24f/28r. I plan to lace 3x on the rear and radial for the front. Should the front be laced heads in or out? Is there any real difference, aesthetics aside?
Radial lacing-- heads in, out, or alternating?

I would suggest to lace heads in (elbows out). This will effectively move the flanges out just a hair which will make for a tad bit stiffer wheel. When ever I lace radial or 1x I lace predominately heads in.
