Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, but there is a recall on Dura Ace front quick release skewers bought or received after November 1, 2005. This is for the silver colored skewers only. I took mine to the LBS and Shimano provided me with an XT replacement until the new D/A type arrive in a couple of weeks. Their website states that the shaft can fail unexpectedly and to stop riding with these immediately.
