I have been looking into frames and frankly cannot decide between a Redline Conquest Pro or the aluminun Specialized Crux frameset, I know it maybe the Ford vs Chevy debate but trying to decide here (pricewise theyre the same).

I have a '06 conquest pro with a mix of components, and I am really happy with it. The weight is 20lbs in race config with some fairly stout wheels. I could probably get it below 20 pretty easily if I cared about the weight.

carbon crux with roval wheels :) Teammate is racing it and I think it may be lighter than my road bike. Specialized rep is fully behind Roval wheels for CX. Looks and rides awesome

Try to ride both as complete bikes and get the one that fits you best

A buddy who is a pretty strong Killer B just picked up the Crux. Looks real nice and he seems to dig it. Redline is a cross standard though. So I doubt you could go wrong with either. Pick the bike that fits best.
