If you had your choice between the 2 models (both are 2009 models as well), what would you race?

Both have aluminum frames (Redline is scandium) and have carbon forks. The Redline frame and fork is lighter than that of the Tricross.

Everything else remains the same as far as components.

Are they equal or are there different? Please chime in if you have an opinion.

Redline. Lighter and has a strong connection to cross racing. They've been making dedicated cross bikes for a long time.

I have a 09 redline conquest pro, and love it. I wish I would have spend the extra for the team version.

The redline is lighter and has to be cheaper. So there are two reasons right there besides my biased opinion.
