Assuming there is no chain stretch, You can remove and just use a quick link to reconnect wiggle.com | KMC 11 Speed Chain Links | ChainsI have to transfer parts over to a new frame on my son's bike...he's growing like crazy.
His bike has campy 11 speed. Can the chain be removed and re-installed, or do I have to buy a new chain?
And to emphasize the point you CANNOT just punch out a pin and reuse it.Assuming there is no chain stretch, You can remove and just use a quick link to reconnect wiggle.com | KMC 11 Speed Chain Links | Chains
Thanks, I'll look into picking up some links.I have used KMC chains and links for several years, both 10 and 11-speed. No problems.
I use them and like them.Additionally (off the top of my head), per Campy you can have 3 replacement pins in the system.
