Frame fix

ignorantly tried to remove this on my Surly Cross Check and now I can't run front and back derailleurs. I've thought about having someone repair it. Anyone know how hard it would be to replace/repair? Or should I just replace the frame?

Are you saying you tried to file/saw the shifter boss off the frame? This can be repaired by any competent frame builder but will require brazing, and that means the paint will be damaged. You're probably looking at something like $100 to complete the job, assuming you don't go for a full frame re-paint.
