Has anyone found a good way to repair deep scuffs or tears in the Lorica? A recent (and unexpected) introduction to asphalt at speed has taken a chunk out of the toe where it meets the sole.

Any ideas how to fill in or fix the area to prevent further damage? Many thanks.

vinyl repair kit??

Go to a local auto supply place and look for a vinyl repair kit. Might work for the repair, but getting a color match would be tough if the shoes are silver.

You can also buy shoe coloring in a spray can at shoe repair shops. It comes in many colors. I've used this spray coloring to refresh white saddles and it worked pretty well.
