still to my mind the zenith of bicycles as art and function. they dont come any purer or elegant ..... one day i'll make a trip to Chester, CT for a fitting.

I followed this bike being built on campyonly.com....... except for Richard Moon's fixed/single speed, this is the best looking bike I've ever seen

we can meet for lunch or a ride, or something. I live in CT and have been by his place (on a Sunday). I frequently travel from the Hartford area to the shoreline, via Rt. 9 and his shop isn't very far off exit 6. Since it was Sunday, his shop was closed but I peeked in the windows and looked around. I remember seeing some bikes and some old race pics. It's a neat little place. Next time I'll bring my digicam and post some pics. His mailbox is cool - I believe it's black and has the yellow "RS" logo on it. Like you, I hope to own a Sachs someday - either a classic road bike or a cx frameset. We'll see...

I always said you have great taste ;) Part of the reason MOON ride is so cool is the wooden rims. Practical, hell no.......gorgeous, hell yes!!!!!!

Pinarello: Always good use of chrome around the rear drops and stays, and the fork crown. Classssssy.

Sprito: Fondled a Gios A-90 (integrated) today. Beautiful work on the welds, as you can't chrome Al, they have polished the right chainstay and drops nicely. It is very, very blue. Am considering for a race rig.
