Is there some sort of universal concerted effort which prevents me from purchasing Ritchey's wet red seatpost in a 27.2 at less than its (very) full retail price? I mean [EXPLETIVE] I can get a root canal for $150 cash in Brooklyn (Novocaine included); why is it that I can't seem to procure this metal pipe for less than $100?

There are some 30.9 diameters on ebay, some even for $59 but none in 27.2...nothing used, nothing...for months.

Some list them but are out of stock. Does Ritchey still make them or are they discontinued??

You can get good carbon seatposts for less than $100.

Yeah I've googled the heck out of it. It still shows as an add to cart option on the manufacturers page so I'm assuming they make them. I know it's only $100, but I've been doing so good being thrifty in all my other purchases this would be a big step backwards.
