I just got a new ultegra 6700 wheelset and I will be running it with tubes but was wondering it I needed to use rim tape? Sorry for the very basic question but not sure if you do with tubeless ready wheels
To be a bit more specific. The rim tape keeps the tube from expanding into the spoke holes when inflated to pressure. The pressure and sharp edges on the spoke holes would cause instant flats without the rim tape.
