My wife and I are headed out to the Cape in September, and are debating on whether or not to take our MTB's or road bikes.

Would we see more of it on skinny tires, or is the MTB riding there worth taking the fat tires?

Any advice you guys can give would be great!

Thanks!!!!!

Both are good

I mostly ride my road bike - year round on the Cape. If you choose road, I'd suggest that you limit riding 6A because it's mostly narrow, lots of potholes, and the drivers are distracted by all the antique shops, etc. Having said that, the ride from the Sagamore Bridge to Provincetown is very nice.

I'm not familiar with all of the MTB places to ride, but there are two outstanding areas: Trail of Tears and Otis. Do a search.

If you want to chat with someone, call BikeZone in either Hyannis or Mashpee.
