I've been reading about the Gatorskins and Conti GP4000's and want some feedback. I have some cheap Hutchinson Equinox tires that keep getting flats. I want to go from 700x23 to 700x25 anyway, and figured I might as well get something with puncture resistance in the same move.

While I would definitely rather have grip and puncture resistance, having a tire that doesn't wear out super fast would be nice. I'm 250 lbs.

I'm about 260 lbs. and have been riding Gatorskins (700x25) for about 10 weeks, usually around 110 psi. I have had one flat, from some particularly nasty local thorns. Other than that, no problems at all. I picked up a 700x28 at the recent REI sale, and I'm thinking about running it on the rear at a slightly lower pressure. I would definitely recommend them.
