Hello All.

After reading the many great reviews for ROL rims, I bought a set. When they came in today, I took them over to my LBS, to have my 9 speed dura ace cassette switched over.

The mechanic took my cassette off, and after a couple minutes of trying to put it on the ROL, told me that the freewheel hub body on the ROL is 10 speed specific.

The website lists that the shimano hub as 8/9/10 speed specific. I tried calling ROL and they didnt answer.

The freewheel hub body is red on my ROL.

I am going to take them to another shop tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue? Or might know whats going on. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Noah

Just got off the phone with Sean.

All the things I have heard about ROL's customer service is dead on. AMAZING.

Appears I have an old rear hub body, and he is sending a new one out today.

There you go! My new Race SLs have a silver freehub body and they use the same hub as yours. I didn't want to answer incorrectly, so I figured a call to Sean was in order! Glad it worked out.

You'll like 'em! I raced my SLs last night for the first time. They are superb!
