sounds awesome.

now that they've lost the nfl's chargers, they should all just start cycling everywhere and show that safe paths and infrastructure, not billion dollar private stadiums, will lead to health, wealth, and happiness.

Is the new biking czar going to be the mayor's brother-in-law or his cousin and is it a $250,000 or $300,000 salary?

It's known nationwide as the Californication of government. They all want to model themselves after Stockton.
The mayor, Kevin Faulconer, is a republican and a strong supporter of this plan.

Much of the transportation infrastructure in San Diego is funded by a 1/2 cent sales tax so it would be reasonable for cyclists to benefit from the taxes they are paying.

San Diego is a great place to use a bike as transport but they have terrible bike infrastructure.

So wonderful to hear that this is possible in this country......but I remain cautiously optimistic. Wish somebody in NYC would run with a vocal pro-bike stance rather than see us as untapped revenue of some sort.

Like we don't already pay high property taxes, and car insurance/gas/tolls/ registration x2.
