ooops...I'm going to be in San Fran and San Jose next week for business. Can someone recommend a good bike store in these cities, or anywhere in between?

Mainly interested in tri and time trial bikes.

Are you looking for anything in particular, or do you just like looking at the bling? Palo Alto Bicycles has a nice stock of high ticket stuff. Watch out though. Last time I was in there just 'looking' I ended up buying a BMC SL01 frameset. :)

Pacific Bicycles in SF has tri bikes. They carry pretty nice stuff, too. (locals, don't flame me on this one because I don't stop by too many bike stores in SF but I pass by Pac Bikes twice every Saturday.)

Cyclepath is a nice, high-end bike store in San Mateo, about mid-way between SF and SJ. They're more road-bike oriented, though.

IMHO - Avoid Cyclepath in San Mateo. Rip off, rude, and utterly pompous a holes. They cater to their own perception of what an elite select group of customers should be.
Spend your hard earned dollars else where.

My major need is a new set of wheels (Zipp 404, Easton EA90 Aero or anything similar). I could also use new pedals as my Speedplays are over 10 years old.
