Are you looking for anything in particular, or do you just like looking at the bling? Palo Alto Bicycles has a nice stock of high ticket stuff. Watch out though. Last time I was in there just 'looking' I ended up buying a BMC SL01 frameset.
Pacific Bicycles in SF has tri bikes. They carry pretty nice stuff, too. (locals, don't flame me on this one because I don't stop by too many bike stores in SF but I pass by Pac Bikes twice every Saturday.)
Cyclepath is a nice, high-end bike store in San Mateo, about mid-way between SF and SJ. They're more road-bike oriented, though.
IMHO - Avoid Cyclepath in San Mateo. Rip off, rude, and utterly pompous a holes. They cater to their own perception of what an elite select group of customers should be.
Spend your hard earned dollars else where.
